Importing Images and Videos into PowerPoint

You can import images and videos directly into a PowerPoint slide or into a placeholder on the slide.

1. Open a new or existing PowerPoint document.
   
   
2. Launch the PowerPoint plugin by clicking on the “Media” button on the “INSERT” ribbon in PowerPoint.
   
   
   
   
   
3. If this is the first time you have launched the plugin, you will be asked to enter the connection data and access details for the 4ALLPORTAL.
   The plugin will launch directly if this is not necessary.
   
   
4. Search for the required image or video using the filter and search functions and select a file by clicking on the checkbox. The “Insert media” button is then enabled.
   
   
5. Clicking on the “Insert media” button imports the image or video into your slide.
   
   Tips: You can import images or videos into a PowerPoint placeholder by selecting the format (positioning the cursor) before inserting the medium.
   Double-clicking on the file is a quicker way to import it than clicking on the checkbox and on the “Insert media” button.
