Importing Images and Videos into Placeholders

If you are working with presentation templates (master slides), you can import images or videos directly into PowerPoint placeholders.   

You can use the following placeholder types:

1. Open a PowerPoint document that includes placeholders or create a placeholder in a new document
   
   
2. Select a placeholder on the slide.
   
   
   For example, a selected “Content” placeholder
   
   
   
3. Launch the PowerPoint plugin by clicking on the “Media” button on the “INSERT” ribbon  in PowerPoint.
   
   
   
   
   
4. If this is the first time you have launched the plugin, you will be asked to enter the connection data and access details for the 4ALLPORTAL.
   The plugin will launch directly if this is not necessary.
   
   
5. Search for the required image or video using the filter and search functions and select a file by clicking on the checkbox. The “Insert media” button is then enabled.
   
   
6. Clicking on the “Insert media” button imports the image or video into your slide.
   
   Tip: Double-clicking on the file is a quicker way to import it than clicking on the checkbox and on the “Insert media” button.
