Full-Screen View
Click the "Full-screen view" icon in the toolbox in the main view and detail view to view files/assets in a particularly large format and to view several of them next to one another.
The full-screen view is displayed in your browser’s full-screen mode. Any control elements that are part of the browser will be hidden in this view. Pressing the ESC key will generally close full-screen mode in most browsers, and the control elements will become available again.
Note: Please keep in mind that only previews of the original files generated by the system will be displayed in the full-screen view. These are not faithful reproductions of your assets; they are displayed in preview quality. For unknown file formats or corrupt data/files where a visual preview cannot be generated, a file icon will be shown in place of the preview.
We use customary, standard tools for generating the previews.
Please understand that due to technological restrictions, previews will necessarily look somewhat different from the original file.
Formats
The full-screen view can display/reproduce the image, graphics, document, audio, and video formats supported by 4ALLPORTAL.
Behavior
When you switch between Detail View and Full-Screen View, the video or audio playback continues.
1. Close Full-Screen View
Click the "X" icon at the upper right of the screen to close the full-screen view and return to the previous view.
2. Zoom
Click the "Format" icon to zoom in on an image in a window to alternately expand it horizontally or vertically.
Click the "plus or minus" icon to increase or decrease the size of an image in the window.
Double-click an asset in the window to view it at maximum size. Double-click again to reduce to original size.
Hold down the left mouse button over an asset you’ve zoomed in on to pan the view. When selecting multiple items, you can also zoom in on multiple images or pan the view of the image content at the same time.
3. Preview Area in Full-Screen View
In the full-screen view, you can view an asset or select multiple items and compare up to six assets at the same time.
Use the image scroll bar to select multiple items. Hold down the Ctrl key (Windows) or Cmd key (Mac) and use your mouse to click multiple thumbnail previews to select them.
4. Pin Function
Click the "Pin" icon at the upper left corner of an asset (not in the image scroll bar) to pin an asset to the full-screen view. This will make it easier for you to select multiple assets from the image scroll bar (see item 3).
Pinning assets is helpful because it means you no longer have to worry about selecting assets in the image scroll bar at the same time using the combination of your keyboard and mouse.
5. Expand/Collapse Image Scroll Bar
Click the "arrow" icon to collapse or expand the image scroll bar. Collapsing it will increase the display area for the view.
6. Previous and Next
Click the "Previous or Next" button to switch to the previous or next asset displayed in the image scroll bar.
7. Image Scroll Bar
Displays further objects from your selection or the search results from the main view.
Click a "thumbnail" to open the full-screen view of the selected object.
If there is a large number of objects displayed, you can hover the mouse cursor over the image scroll bar and use your mouse wheel to scroll through the images.
Alternatively, arrow icons that allow you to scroll through the images will be displayed to the left and right of the image scroll bar.
